Be warned though, many regions do not use CDMA. Also, frequencies and tech standards (EVDO versions, etc) used may vary. CDMA use over seas is not nearly as friendly as GSM. Heck, even domestically it isn't as friendly. Friend of mine was wanting to go from US Cellular to Cricket (Both 1xEVDO CDMA carriers), and continue to use their same phone, but would have had to reflash the radio firmware on their phone.
