Exchange security policy for Android phones Active Sync
Hi all,
I have a small Exchange server that I would like to connect a couple Android based phones to. During setup I get a message that tells me that Exchange requires you to enable security policies and then presents a list: Erase all data, limit password etc.
I'm running Windows 2008 SBS with Exchange 2007.
Where is this policy maintained in Exchange? Can I disable it so that the users do not get this message?
I assume that the policy only allows the Exchange admin to carry out these actions but I'd like to make sure what the policy does and how I can adjust it.

That was it, I decided to just go ahead and try it and the policy message never appeared...very transparent to the user. Thanks!

I'd like to prevent the policy from being pushed to the phone totally. Anyway of doing that?
