I need to get a screen shot of an issue and the problem appears for a split second when reloading the page. I can not reload and take a screen shot at the same time. And way to cause the page to reload over and over?

Without two people on the keyboard?

Vista and IE 9.0

Is this your own website?  If so, you can add this in the header to make it reload how many ever seconds you want.

This if for 30 seconds.
<META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT="30; URL=http://www.yourwebsite.com">

Not my webpage, just Hotmail, Yahoo sites, etc. need to reload a few times and hope to get a screen shot of an ad issue.

I find that I can reload the pages with the alt key pressed, so maybe I can tape the alt key down and then be able to reload with my mouse and also press the print screen key.

Unless that 30 second solution you have can work on any webpage.

Thanks.

That solution above is only to use on your own website.

I use F5 to refresh, I've never heard of alt working, but if it works, use it :)  I guess it would also help to have ninja-like reflexes as well  :D

Good luck with capturing the moment!

I have to press Alt and Print Screen on my keyboard to take a screen shot.
But, F5 and regular reload still work, with the Alt key down.
That does help me eliminate one of the 3 actions needed for a screen shot.

With the Alt key taped down, then reload or F5 and print screen might catch the instanteous event.

Ah...I see.

Are there lots of ads you need to capture?  If you'd like you can tell me what you're looking for and I can try to go to the website and get the screenshot.

the ads that end up on the right side of the page are blinking for 1/2 second on the left side, before they go to the right side.
I have someone working on the cause, etc. but I thought I'd try to capture a shot of the ad when it is on the left side, and then another shot of the same ad when it gets to the right side. It's a 1 second process. I've tried two dozen times and just can not get the screen shot at the exact instant.

no, I never got it. It happens in under one second, and by the time I see the ad and press print script it's too late.
I'd tried pressing the key just before the ad appears, and have been an instant early, and an instant late many times. I've tried 35 times and will just abandon it.

I need a frame by frame and that is not possible.

You could pull an Edison and keep going, but it does sound pretty frustrating!

I got rid of the blinking ads anyway, with a setting called "software rendering."
