Yes this is the latest odbc drivers from sage, also there is no macro yet and I am just going to import data in excel choosing the required fields I want, then it says I have to link table, at this point it hangs and creates this huge file.

thanks but I figured it myself by going into the query itself and turning off the auto run button and making the adjustments before running as the reason it was hanging was there were too many results.

Everytime I try to import data from Sage (My Accounts Package) using Excel import data my system hangs and I notice a huge file of 180GB in my temp folder. &nbsp;This happens at the point of excel bringing up the tables for me to associate with each other.<br />

Any ideas?
