Using Clonezilla Live to run image backup of server.  External backup drive is 3TB drive (2.72TB, Used space (the completed Clonezilla) is 1.28TB, Free is 1.43).  However, Clonezilla seems to only recognize 2.0 TB capacity and stops backup at 96.91%. Prior to the backup the drive is basically empty.

On screen at end of incomplete backup:
File System NTFS
Device Size: 2.0TB
Space in Use: 1.7TB
Free space: 294.5 GB
Block Size: 4096 Bytes
Used block: 4158886577
Elapsed: 13:54:42
Remaining: 00:26:37
Completed: 96.91%

Checking the disk space

Failed to save partition

Data on server is at 1.3 TB

Your assistance is appreciated...

Clonezilla does not work with 2TB+ drives (GPT drives) according to your report.
Did you check the surface of your backup source drive?

    Accepted Solution

Never mind.  Deleted some files and ran backup again.

No one had definitive answer, so I was able to delete files and reduce size of backup.
