Remove data from all except exempt

I need a generic macro that will ask for which records to exempt from data removal, proceed to obscure or remove data from all except those records, and save as new file name.

Please provide steps to implement macro if possible?

I see only one way - temporary table, which is filled with record ID and boolean Yes-No. You can mark records to be excluded and make nesessary actions with data (joing your source table and temporary and exclude marked records).
If you can give us example of your table, we can prepare working sample.

ALS, Thank you
What I was hoping for is something generic that I could plug into any database no matter how complex that would basically say clear chosen table xyz with exception of listed records.
You should have in temporary table ID field same to key field in your table. SOmetimes it will be long integer, sometimes - no. You should generate structure of temporary table in acordance to source data. It is possible, but not very simple. From my practice I can propose to deside this task individually for every case.

Surely there are folks out there is tons of stuff out there for stripping databases of data before posting.  I am just trying to find an easy way to do that.
