sccm install client problem
I setup sccm on a test 2008 R2 (Server1)dc with sql 2008. Everything appears to be setup correctly. There is a second 2008R2 (server2)also a DC and a 2003 member server on the same address range. They get picked up ok but the clients are not installing correctly.
I created the site boundaries initially setting it as active directory but clients were not installing so I set it as IP address range but this also didn't work. firewalls are disabled on the sccm server
The directory in \\server2\admin$ is getting created so I know there is no permissions issue and the client is at least attempting to get installed. When I looked at the log files on server2 I could see the problem relates to Failed to successfully complete HTTP request. (StatusCode at WinHttpQueryHeaders: 404) I have made the changes highlighted here http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/490-how-can-i-configure-sccm-2007-sp1-in-windows-server-2008/ but I still can't get it to work.

On the clients, do yo have ccmsetup folder in c:\windows\system32? If this directory exist you can look inside for ccmsetup.log.
