    1. what is the error you are getting?
    login with Admin profile
go to start- run & type regedit.exe
    browse to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
delete the sub key which refrences to that profile.
restart machine & login with same user ID (it will create new profile for that ID) or login with admin & delete the profile

    Accepted Solution

It seems to be the permission issue try the ownership of the C:\Users and  explicity add the userid with which you have login with full control and then try to delete the profile.

typically, there are some files that are use protected. You can try to delete the contents of the user's profile first, then delete the folder that represents the user profile. Otherwise, you may have to get an unlocker or something like a Profile Hive Cleanup utility to bypass the use protection on the profile itself. Just make sure the Profile Hive Cleanup Utility or Unlocker supports W7 computers.
