create portable application

hi techs,
we bought a customized software from a company, and each time we need to install it they charge us, currently we are using an image to resotre it on any pc we need, but id like to try one of the following:
1- to create a portable copy of the application
2- to track all the shared files its using and copy it manually to the target location

    You can use one of the many available disk and registry change trackers, such as SpyMeTools:

    Basically you take a snapshot before the installation and another one immediately after the installation and the utility will show a list of what files were installed and what was written into the registry. That should be enough information to create your own instatallation scripts.

    You can also track what shared libraries an application is using during runtime by running it with Dependency Walker:
