Website Optimization
Hi All,
I have a website that I would like it to appear in search engines like google, yahoo, MSN.
Right now, when I lookup it up by keywords, it does not appear in any way at all. It only apear if I type the website name.
How can I have my website apear when I use keywords. I would like to know if I can have it in the first search result. Also, what other suggestions or recommandation that you suggest for me to do with my website to have a greater number of visitors/hits.
Please let me know in details your thoughts. :)
Thank you

am not sure if I can post the site here for privacy reason
Then why would you want it indexed at all by a search engine?

The first item on the list of thing for SEO is open availability. Google exposes the inner working of the 'net and of sites. They are very co-operative about not exposing private areas and data a site indicates is not intended for the public. So if it is a private site there is no point in looking at Google to index it.
I can't give much advice without seeing the site. A lot of detailed SEO has to do with how the site is presented and coded.
