Windows Server 2003 USB Drive Copy
When copying large files to an External USB drive from Windows 2003 Server the computer will freeze. I have tried switching USB Drives and also checked Event Viewer and running updates - the issue still occurs. I have read in other posts online where someone suggested it happens with NTFS but not FAT32. I have no idea on how to resolve. Any suggestions are appreciated.

ehabsalem: It happens with different USB drives. I did update the drivers/firmware.
It happens with both standard windows copy and also other copy utilities.
The file sizes vary, it happens when I am copying a large folder over 1GB.

The link simply says that TrendMicro antivirus created the same problem you are facing. Disabling TMicro solved the problem.
If you do not have trenmicro then no need to check it.

Thanks for the update. No I don't have Trend Micro Running. I have seen other people post this same problem but no real resolution offered. It might just be the USB card has issues. There are no othe USB ports available and I don't have more time to research so I am going to close the question down. Thanks.
