Installing SBS 2011 Essentials on IBM x3200M3

I am planning installation of SBS 2011 Essentials on IBM server x3200M3.
The server comes with Windows OEM preinstallation kit and IBM also provide tools for installing the OS i.e. create and install CD with all the latest updates/firmware.
Please advise on the simplest way to install the OS.
Do I need to use the OEM preinstallation kit?
Should I use the IBM tools?
Do I need to use both?

Various versions of the pre installation kits from the major manufactures allow for different products to be staged for installation.  Can't say if yours does, or if a newer/different version would.  But what those pre-install routines do is load the drivers needed so you don't have to feed them manually.

You can do either one, but only if the manufacture's startup routine offers the particualar OS that you are installing, otherwise you will have to install from the OS media and add the drivers manually.

Assuming Its unlikely that I will need to repeat this install in the future (same hardware/OS).
It may be a waste of time for me to learn how to use MS pe-installtions kit or the IBM server guide?
Would you agree?
Do you think it would be faster and simpler to just install OS manually?

So long as you have the drivers available and have access to them during the install.  SBSe installs either from a DVD or a  USB, but the drivers may need to be on a different piece of plastic.  The only crucial ones are the drive controller and maybe the NIC, although Windows is pretty good at finding a driver for most NICS.
