How to correct the settings on iPad Outlook to remove the resigned user?

We have a department Calendar where staff sends some requests (i.e. time off) and these requests are accepted by members of the Calendar.
One staff member that was associated with the Calendar has resigned, his account was deleted and PC is off the network.
Now when we send a request to the Calendar it is received properly by the staff members using PCs who accept these requests.
However one staff member uses an iPad and the request to the Calendar on the iPad still listed the resigned user (member of the Calendar) as the “To” person.
How to correct the settings on iPad and/or Outlook to remove the resigned user?
