Non-Database connected grid VS2008

I want to display a number of items in rows and columns. Each cell would be "clickable" and return its unique value.

In VB6 I successfully used msFllexGrid for this.

I have not found a similar non-database related control in VS2008.

    I found an article in msdn about using a collection. After building the example and proving it, I think it will do the job. Thx for your responses.
