Sharepoint out of box workflow clarification

Im confused about what out of the blocks workflows should be available to me.

Currently I have sharepoint foundation installed  and sharepoint 2010 standard.

I only have 2 out of box workflows showing up.  See attachment.

Is there anything I can do to get the standard approval workflow that comes with sharepoint?
Is there a service I need to activate?  Or do I need enterprise version just to get a generic approval workflow.  If so thats really unfortunate.
