open office powerpoint version.

if i get a file in open office, i cannot open it up with mac office 2011 powerpoint or pc office 2010 power point.

    You need to have plug in to open OpenOffice document in Ms Office, you can download it here for Windows,

    I cannot found one that works on Mac.

    Powerpoint is the most problematic among all OpenOffice documents when opened in Office application. The presentation may not look as good as it is in OpenOffice. May be you like to consider to get converted version of that presentation from the original sender.
