White space in autocentering Label

I have a few multiline labels that have their TextAlign property set to MiddleCenter. I need to move some of the lines off center. I have tried adding spaces before and after the text in those lines, but it appears that TextAlign trims each of the lines before centering them, so my spaces are not taken into account.

Other than centering the text myself, anybody has an idea of how I can force specific lines to move right or left in an autocentered multiline label?

What happens if you use a null character rather than a space.  Something like #FF (Alt+255) or " "
