does this  launch everytime the page loads or when a user fills in a field of which there are many??

    this FIRES only once the whole document has finished loading in browser. its same as OnLoad event.

    Everytime whenever complete page loads OR reloads to browser. Not on when user fills in a field...

    so on the form there are three sections with fields and a submit button on each if they fill in the fields on the first section and hit the first button...then this would be called correct? bec ause they submitted the form...

    also the OnLoad in a method like...doesn this get loaded last, including after the page_load?

    onload of client side javascript i was talking about NOT server side. whenever the page is reload or form submited to SAME PAGE it will fire.
