DNS Settings on Client

Does anyone know of any way (other than a GPO) that wil enable me to change the primary & secondary DNS settings on my clients with some type of script? Maybe with powershell??? My servers are all Windows 2008 & all my clients are Vista & Windows 7

Not using DHCP I suppose?

If not, here is a link that will give you the power shell command to set the dns servers by pc.
