I’ve got a question about SBS 2011.  I want some users to access the server with “Remote Desktop Services”.  Can I install RDS and install TSCal on SBS 2011?

    Accepted Solution

SBS only supports 2 TS/RDP users in adminsitartion mode. In order to use terminal services (remote desktop services) you need to add another server, physical or virtual. SBS can be the licensing server for terminal services but cannot run teminal services , other than for administration.
One option is to buy the premium add-on, but if you don't need SQL, buying server 2008 R2 would be less expensive.
