I am looking to migrate a few copies of Office 2010 apps to our RDS enviromnent (server 2008 R2), but you cannot install the retail version on an RDS environment. Only Volume Licences. <br />

Is there any way to change the licence type? or do we have to purchase volume licences.

Can't install Retail versions of Office 2010 Apps on RDS enviroment

Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, based on the Microsoft Vista codebase, is the last 32-bit server operating system released by Microsoft.
