kill update statistics in Sybase

The cronjob use to update statistics for sybase db still running since pas 3 days, if I decided to kill the sessions, will it rollback entire command or it will just stop with current which it progressing ?

    There's not really a lot to rollback in an update stats job because the only thing being written to are the system tables sysstatistics and systabstats.

    Worst case you might lose the stats for whatever table the job is currently running on. Three days seems excessive to me though!

    Any tables that it finished working on will be untouched by killing the job, you would only lose progress for the current table. (I sure hope a single table hasn't taken three days!!)
