User login hangs in welcome screen

Login for users takes forever. My users are logging into the Windos Server 2008 R2 x64 terminal server, it hangs in the welcome screen for like 3-5minutes. Checking the server, it seems like the lsm.exe is waiting for something.

It keeps getting this error:
The Windows logon process has unexpectedly terminated.

If I keep the server alive for a while the issue seems to fix itself, but this can takes all from 10minutes to 12 hours. I have 8 terminal servers and it happend to almost all of the servers within a few weeks ago, when we had updated the servers with new versions of flashplayer etc.

Any idea what might cause this?

Check the server's event log and if you get the Event ID 4005 — Windows Logon Availability see the link provided if it could solve your problem.

Thanks, it seems to be a memory issue, as its gets empty for memory it starts using the pagefile and get some IO problems with writing to the disk.
