Would like to have two Ultrium SCSI tape drives available on VMware at the same time.<br />
I say at the same time as I can have either working but only one at a time.<br />
Both devices are on the same HBA (a LSILogic card) - the 448 tape device has a SCSI Id of 10, the 1760 device has a SCSI ID of 11. &nbsp;Of course i can change the SCSI Id's to suit - vmware only displays the lower SCSI ID.<br />

To allow Vmware to detect the device in the first place i had to run the &quot;esxcli storage nmp satp rule add --satp=VMW_SATP_LOCAL --driver=&quot;mptsas&quot; &quot;&nbsp;command.<br />
