I have a lenovo t410 windows 7 professional.   when it wake from sleep/Hibernate it close off the wifi until I restart.  I have uncheck the device management/network device/ power manager tab to close off the device to save power but that does not seem to work.  Any suggestion would be grateful.

does disabling and enabling the device work after come out of sleep?

If that doesn't work it could be hardware related, if that does work then its windows not waking it up on wake up
remember sleep is still on using a small amount of trickle power
hibernate is off with sysem state saved in memory

does either effect wifi same way?
main problem is a separate lenovo  wifi software that was bugging out.  re-install the latest version and  it was working afterward.  all the answer help me come to the solution. So thanks everyone.
