Is there a way to inject the sata driver that I downloaded from HP site into my ghost image after having beed deployed?

I already copied the image onto my HP G62, and I found out it doesn't have the right drivrs for the G62 sata drive! I know all about nlite, and I know I can f6 if I had a floppy which I don't! My question is this: can there be away of injecting the driver into the xp installed on that sata drive, from another computer? I mean connect the sata to another computer and copy the driver on it, and perhaps extract dll's to system32/drivers and manipulate the registry or something to make this work!?

Any help in this regard would be very appreciated , THNX!

A simple way would be to set the BIOS SATA mode to "legacy", "IDE" or "compatible."  This allows the system to boot the SATA drive as a standard IDE drive.  Once the system is up and running, the drivers can be installed as normal.  Then shut down, reset the BIOS SATA mode to "AHCI", "native" or "advanced", and reboot.

DrKlahn, the BIOS on most new pc systems and on laptops doesn't have this feature!
HP G62 has no BIOS SATA-NATIVE switch case!!!
