CItrix xenapp always crashed in Windows 2008 r2 server

This is a new setup of xenapp 6, on MS Windows 2008 r2 server with sp1 64-bit. After setting up the terminal server, I go and setup xenapp 6. But, found that xenapp always crashed with error message: faulting svchost.exe with terminal dll.

Is this a known issue? How to solve this problem? Any patches from Citrix?

Thanks in advance for help.

Actually, you shouldn't download and install ALL of the hotfixes, just those that are pertinent to any issues you may be experiencing.  Citrix does things a bit differently than Microsoft in this way.

Hotfixes are compiled into Hotfix Rollup Packs, and these should definitely be installed.  When an HRP is created, all of the individual hotfixes are tested for compatibility.

If you install all individual hotfixes immediately when they become available, it's possible that there may be some compatibility issues.

Hi Both,

After applying hotfixes - 60, 46, and 77; the Citrix server seems to be operational now. I will monitor it for the next couples of day...
