Recover Exchange 2003 Data

Scenario:

2003 Server running Exchange 2003 died. No backups. All I could recover is priv1.edb file and priv1.stm file.

I have a new server running exchange 2010 (fully functional).

How can I recover user mailboxes from the priv1.edb ? Prefer to do it into their new accounts on the 2010 server but not sure what to do with .edb files.

Any ideas from the pros?

Hello,
You need to use third party software to access and recover mails from edb files. Last month I have used "Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Exchange Recovery" and works perfect.

I highly recommend it.

I hope this answer is helpful to you.

I ended up purchasing Enstella .edb to .pst converter utility. It cost $300USD and I would have considered it a bargain at twice that price.

It saved me today. Now to get Acronis imaging backups running on this new box for these guys so this does not happen again!

Thanks for the tips guys.
