Login on ubuntu server with tacacs+ or radius authentication

Hi,

i have an existing ubuntu server and also a tacacs+ and radius server. I would like to use the username/password validation of the tacacs+ or radius server for allowing or not allowing a user to have access to the ubuntu server. How do i set this up?

Thanks

Hi

You can use radius for the authentication.

If you need more information, google "ubuntu configure pam radius"

Just keep in mind that can only work for the password part. All the other info (uid, gid, home directory, shell etc.)  are still required to be available in the local password file or LDAP info
