Share free/Busy with External Company
Hello
How can 2 companies share free/busy information with each other? Each company has about 100 users each and each has their own email servers and they all need to see each other's free/ busy schedules.
One has Exchange 2007, the other has a Linux based email system.
How can the companies share calendars, specifically free/busy info?

would need to know exactly what the other email system is. It might be possible to share it but there are only certain systems that it will work with.

I've tried that but as far as I know it works from email clients such as Outlook. Which servers do you know of that would work?
I read about Zimbra having this functionality.

Sharing from the server side is what I am looking for.

If they had exchange it would be easy. Domino would do it

Half the users are Exchange, the other half is sendmail. They will share the same Active Directory.
well you are limiting yourself by having the sendmail. why not role out Exchange every where.
If there is a reason for having sendmail then that could be worked in while still having all users on exchange

Could sendmail users configure Outlook to publish Free/busy info to Exchange public folders?
