I am receiving this error from one of my file servers... FYI, I just demoted the last 'old' 2000 DC after I ensured that I had 2 working 2003 Domain Controllers. I have unjoined/rejoined this file server and it stills errors ... any ideas?

Check the clock and timezone on the file server to make sure it matches the domain.
Check the DNS settings for the file server to make sure it points to a valid DNS server for the domain.

Hi

I agree with zone_o. Check your primary DNS setting. It probably still points to the removed server IP address.

Great Job... Never thought that the DNS was hard coded in the configurations of the File server.
