BGP to OSFF

Im working on a router and Ive never seen this statement before. Can someone explain what this is doing.

I just need to know what this means:

set metric +200    - I have not seen the +200 before. This is on a Cisco router.

I believe it's used to manipulate traffic to favor one route over another route even though BGP wouldn't typically see it as the favorable path.
