One of my users has stopped receiving payment confirmations from Paypal after we migrated to SBS 2011. It appears that Paypal is using his email address as the sender and that it wants to relay thru our server.

Her is the error supplied by Paypal

The 554 sender denied is the response from your server. We have no control over this.

You will need to check the server's configuration and see why our messages are being rejected.

So I'm assuming that they are trying to relay thru us?

How do I let him send mail from Paypal to himself?

Thanks

Try the following:

1. Ping their domain to get the IP address
2. No open EMC and browse to Server Configuration > Hub Transport
3. Click on the Anti-Spam tab
4. Open the IP Allow List
5. Click on the Allowed Addresses tab and Add their IP address in there
6. Now give it about 10 minutes and ask them to test

Hope this helps!!!

I suspect you will need to create a Receive Connector specifically from Paypal
