In response to Todar, despite installing as advised, I am still getting the same error that Adobe Flash is not installed.  Something somewhere is wrong and hope someone would be able to put a finger on the problem.  Thank u

What you have installed is only the standalone Flas player.

To play Flash video in your browser you need to install the Flash plug-in for the browser.

Just google for Flash plug-in and download and install it from the Adobe website.

Good Luck!

You will need to first roll back the IE9 upgrade, uninstall all Flash components including Flash player, plugins, updates, etc.

Install a second browser like Firefox which will help you to pinpoint the problem.

Restart.

Browse to the Adobe website and follow the instructions to install the plugins for both browsers online.

Good Luck!

In response to avgavg, I have firefox, and it plays the same videos that IE9 couldn't that no Flash etc were installed.  In my Control Panel I see the Adobe programs installed.  So I cannot understand why IE 9 cannot see it or recognize it.  Maybe some fine tuning in the registry or somewhere else, just guessing as I am NO expert. Thank u

IE and Firefox use different plugins. So you need to install the plugin foe IE even if Flash video plays in Firefox.

Good Luck!
