I have created my sharepoint website which is https:\\servername:Port Name\WebPageName
How can I now put this on the IIS and give it a name? Like \\local website name\
It is meant to be a local sharepoint website.

Using your example terminology, in your DNS, assign "locat website name" to the IP address of your SharePoint's "servername".

Then, in SharePoint, extend the Web Application using Central Administration, and set the host header value to match the "local website name." Once you complete the process of extending the Web Application, SharePoint will have created a new site in IIS, configured with host header and other information.
