Office 2007 32Bit vs 64Bit

I have a 64bit machine with Office 2007 32bit installed.

2 questions,

1. Is there a Office 2007 64 version?
2. if so, can you upgrade from 32Bit? or does it require a fresh install?

For 2007, it doesn't look like there's a native 64bit according to Technet...

So that would be on both questions. Office2k7.png

Why do you want to use a 64 bit version of Office?  Microsoft doesn't even recommend it for 2010.  P

That said, while there was a 64 bit version of office 2003 (according to an article I read), I've never even seen it.  One huge problem with 64 bit versions is plug-in compatibility.

Just wanted to test it on our RD environment. 32 bit seems to crash all the time. Particularly in Excel.
Thought that 64Bit may help.
I have had troubles trying to find answers to why it crashes so much. I tried enabling WER for more info but this only pulls info on 64bit apps.

Well, as stated, there is no 64 bit version of 2007.  Does it crash on the one system in question or on all systems?

All RD Servers. Always Excel.
Nothing really common about what crashes.
