How to set Windows 7 to stop booting in safe mode

After running repair on af Windows 7 x64, it starts in safe mode, even if I press F8 during start and choose normal mode.
How do I force normal mode boot?

run msconfig.
tab boot.
uncheck safe boot and click ok

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately it does not apply. When entering MSConfig the Safe boot option is unchecked. I have tried checking, saving, unchecking and saving this option to no avail.
Maybe you have other suggenstions?

After reading your suggestion more thorougly, it turns out that I looked at the wrong tab in MSconfig.
