Not sure if this is possible but here goes

We have a template that would require different signatures at the bottom, because of ISO reasons we are only allowed 1 template.

Is it possible to add some intelligence into the template that would give the user the ability to pick and choose fromm say 5 Different signatures ie:

the bootom of the template would say Signed By:
and then something you could click to allow you to pick the signature

or is there any other possible way of doing this?

For text you could use autotext options so, for example, start typing the name and word will fill in the rest.
In word 2010 there's a more complex option with the ability to digitally sign a document and/or you can include a scanned signature with the autotext (not sure thats supported in earlier versions).

If you are looking for something that offers a pick list and enforces a choice then it would need a relatively straightforward macro but think through the support issues first - for example:- if a signatory leaves who updates the macro, who maintains a list of authorised signatories.

the signature would be an image like a jpeg or something, does that change on what you advised?

Which version are you using? - I know it works in 2010 and probably 2007 but would need to check with previous versions
