Hi,

Please on the UC560 with 3 pstn numbers plugged into 3 fxo ports, is it possible to pick a particular pstn number for outgoing calls, when a user needs to call outside? The way incoming calls from a particular pstn are restricted to a particuar operator extension number, can the same be done for outgoing calls?

as I understand you want to send the calls from specific line  , if so you have to do the following:

dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 9T (9 is your access code)
port 0/0/0 (FXO port that you want to use)

Can it be tied to a particular user extension, so tht line is always used?

Commented:
you want only one user to use this line?

Author

Commented:
nope, a particular extension, for now, that is the only extension allowed unrestricted calls.

I have 3 lines and 3 users. I want each of them to be restricted to just one line each.

Commented:
aha OK you can assign the lines directly to their phones, i.e. when they open the line the FXO port will open directly and they can dial the number without any access code. if it is fine with you I will give you the configuration.
