Wehn I look over the list, some have a Sim symbol. The one I added in gmail had a G and the rest have nothing. So I assume the rest are on the phone. So do I need a way to change them all to a G?

I just got an Android phone and imported my contacts from a file. I have sync set up with a Gmail account. When I add a contact in Gmail it appears on my phone. But the contacts on my phone are not updating my Gmail address book.<br />
<br />
I would like to have the complete list of contacts in both places, mostly because I want to manage and clean them up them in Gmail address book.<br />

Any suggestions?<br />
