Issue passing multiple parameters in SQL2008 Reporting Server design

Hello Experts, I cerated a report with a parameter which is set to allow multiple values. All is working ok when I only select 1 parameter as a criterea, however when 2 or more are selected I receive the following error:
An error has occured during local report processing.
An error has occured during report processing.
Query execution failed for dataset 'dataSet1'.
Incorrect synthax near ','
So it seems like multiple parameters by default are separated by a ',' and my query is not formatting the statement correctly, please advise with yur suggestions. Thank you in advance.

The values for a multi-value parameter are indeed passed as comma-separated.

I wrote an article about this feature, and how to get it working using a stored procedure, to be found here: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Microsoft/Development/MS-SQL-Server/MS-SQL_Reporting/A_2002-Reporting-On-Data-From-Stored-Procedures-part-2.html
