install printer and share it on windows server 2008 r2

Hello Experts
I am trying to add a KONICA MINOLTA 5650EN printer on the Windows Server R2. I have installed 64bit drivers, tested the printer and it prints ok from the server. Now, I went to one of the XP machine on the same domain, I can find the shared printer from this machine from the find printer wizard using an IP address ex: \\12.12.12.1\printername but its giving me an error

"the server for the "konica minolta pp5650" printer does not have the correct printer driver installed"

I am unable to do the following

1) install x84 drivers on the server using "install additional driver" option

2) install the x84 drivers manually on the client computer by browsing the driver

Please can someone advise if the above makes any sense?

Thanks
S

Hi radhakrishnan2007,
Thanks for your input.
After adding a printer to the printer on the server.
I have followed your instructions and added X86 and x64 drivers on the windows 2008 server for Konica Minolta 5650 printer.
I then went back to the XP workstation and tried to add the printer using a hostname. However it didnot briing up the printers list when I gave //hostname/
If I try with an IP //12.121.12.12/ {am getting printers list}
After selecting the printer from the list and when I click NEXT - it gave me the same error again. ie; "the server for the "konica minolta pp5650" printer does not have the correct printer driver installed"
I dont know what is going wrong here.. please can you advice?
Thanks
PS: I also have given appropriate user permission on the share printer properties
