Windows 2008 Server will not allow me to download from an FTP site or Send/Receive Emails...?
I have everything set up correctly in Outlook and FTP login and passwords. I am not able move files up or down from FTP or Send and Receive email......
Can anyone tell me what I need to check to see what I need to configure to allow those to work ...........one or both.
Thank you.

Does the security alert mean that I need to create some kind of exception. I am not set up as the administrator but I am an administrator does that make a difference here...?

So does this mean if my email server is
myemailserver.com
then I would need to add that to the trusted sites list along with my FTP site 11.11.11.11 as examples.
Finally I have never been able to get a download directly from the Filezilla website. I have to do everything manually bringing the file to install from another machine. So in order to get FILEZILLA updates automatically. Would I need to figure out what the URL was to that site or the IP address was and add that to trusted site.......
Thank you for all your support

That got it. Thanks........one addition to this.
So both the Firewall Settings selecting FTP and Outlook settings should be checked.......and
add a website to the trusted zone.
Well I just added my......."myemailserver.co m"' name to the list it did not help.
Do I need to add something like www.myemailserver.com or http:// in front
In addition if this is the link to the download of the new FILEZILLA and every time I open it wants to update...How can I identify what URL I need to get to put the right trusted zone........?
http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client Here it shows a LINUX and WINDOWS version. The download goes to sourceforge.........how deep do I need to go to get the right URL....?

The Security Alert Says ...you current security settings do not allow you to download from this location. When I use Windows Explorer.......Your thoughts.
