I am currently running VMware 5.0 I have a VM server that has about 5 drives connected to the Vm image, two of the drives are connected to one DataStore and two are connected to two other Datastores. I want to make sure all drives are stored on the same data store as the image is the best way to do this by cloning the server or is there a better way of doing this?

Do you have the licensing to do Storage VMotion? If so, just rt-click on the VM -> Migrate. Then, in the wizard, select "Datastore", then at the next window, you can click the Advanced button and choose the virtual disk and the Datastore location you wanna migrate that virtual disk to.

If you don't have sVMotion capability, just run a V2V using vCenter (Server) Converter, or vCenter Convereter Standalone (http://downloads.vmware.com/d/info/infrastructure_operations_management/vmware_vcenter_converter_standalone/5_0)
