adobe acrobat create cell fields

Hi,

I'd like to create cell field as text like shown in this snapshot:
http://tutorialref.com/images/adobe-acrobat-create-cell-fields.png

If I create a text fields then it doesn't have those lines like in the ones that are shown in the snapshot. There are fillable fields that once you type in these individual cells it jumps to the next cell of that text field. I wish to create this for the "Year-end" fields. How do I do this?

Thanks,

Unfortunately I am not sure what you are asking about. Are you trying to create a comb field that automatically jumps to the next field when filled in? Because you only posted a screen shot, it's hard to understand what dynamic behavior you are trying to accomplish.

Hi khkremer,

Yes, I guess that's what they call it. I didn't know what it was called. I found this page:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Standard/WS5DD4FA5D-7906-4fdd-AC89-AE702D8C9BDB.w.html

at the bottom it states "Comb Of Characters". How do I create these comb of characters field?

Thanks,
Victor

Add a new text field to your document and bring up the properties dialog.
Go to the "Options" tab and deselect "Scroll long text" and "Check spelling" (that's necessary so that the comb option becomes available).
Select "Comb" and specify how many characters you want.
Go to the "Appearance" tab and select a line color (otherwise you wont see the "comb" fields).
Apply your changes.
Now you should have a comb style text box.
