Hi,

We use confluence for wiki/document management. It comes with Tomcat 6 and it does not have logging for cataliana.out. Is it possible to enable logging (logrotate) for tomcat - catalian.out file?

We use sun solaris 10.

Thanks in advance

Yes, this is simple, this is the page I used to accomplish the same thing:

http://java.dzone.com/articles/how-rotate-tomcat-catalinaout

If you don't have logrotate installed, grab it from here:

ftp://ftp.sunfreeware.com/pub/freeware/sparc/10/logrotate-3.7.6-sol10-sparc-local.gz

And look in /usr/local/doc/logrotate/examples/logrotate-default for a standard config file (you'll need to create your own /etc/logrotate.d directory for instance)
