Cisco ASA 5505 - Maximum Hosts Monitoring via SNMP

Hello,

Many of you know the Cisco ASA 5505 has a 10, 50 and Unlimited license level. Many of our offices use the 50 user license. Some of them have recently reported connection problems.

Does anyone know how to monitor the currently active hosts through the firewall (shown using show local-host) using SNMP?

I don't have centralized syslog monitoring set up yet; simply SNMP. Any ideas on a custom MIB string?

Not sure about the OID, but a list of supported MIBs can be found at ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/supportlists/asa/asa-supportlist.html. The MIB files can be downloaded from their ftp site.

I would look at one of the following. entity-mib, altiga-global-mib or cisco-firewall-mib
