2004 Sante Fe door chime, dome light, remote entry and radio stopped working

My Dad was replacing the radio in his 2004 Santa Fe and was not sure of the wiring so he temporarily wired it. A piece of tape came off and a wire touched the back of the radio and shorted. The radio stopped working and I figured he blew the radio or a fuse. The radio works fine in another vehicle.

Then we noticed the door chimes do not work, the dome light does not come on when the door is open, the keyless entry does not unlock the doors and the radio does not work.

I checked all the fuses and they are good so I assume he blew something else like a relay or sensor.

Any ideas on what it could be that would control all of these things?

Thanks in advance

Check the other fusebox.  There is one in the engine compartment, and one in the passengers compartment.

I would be using a test light to check fuses with, not pulling them out to stare at them.

Check the wiring route of his temporarily wire.
It has shorted to the -earth through the radios body.
So it will be the source of his temporarily wire(s) connnection all the way back to the battery that has blown a fuse / relay or even melted a wire in the wiring loom.

Use a multi meter or a test light to check / find where the power stops.

This may be difficult for a beginner and you may end up needing an auto electricians service.

All the fuses are good in both the cabin and the engine compartment. The wiring is good between the radio and the fuse panel in the cabin. I can't really test it past that.

Good suggestions but ultimately didn't solve the issue
