Where to get MSDN for Visual C++ 6

on
I have tried to find out from the microsoft web site, where to download and subscribe (if neccessary) MSDN for visual C++ version 6.
Navigating their web site is a nightmare and I have resorted to asking the question here.

Can anyone give me the URL where I can download it from (presumably Microsoft's site).
They don't make it easy for anyone do they ?

Its not there. I can only see 1.52, 2.0 and 4.2 (Look in developer Tools)

Do you mean the help files?  You should have a copy with your original discs for visual C++.

I had already looked in developer Tools and didn't find anything.

When I click on Help on the top menu, I get a message  "The MSDN collection does not exist. Please reinstall MSDN"

So, install it from your original CD's.  If I remember correctly the complete installation is a two step process.  First Visual C is installed and after that is complete you then install the MSDN components to give you a local copy of the help files.
