How can I creat a policy so that user can't change default web site on explorer?

Can someone send me a step by step instruction on how to configure a policy so that the default page on explorer is the company's  website? So the user can't change it without admin permission.

This link should help. Let me know if you need further instructions.

An Administrative Template may also be required to lock this setting down. The link below is an example/download for IE7.

The guide bellow assumes that you are using Internet Explorer 7,8 or 9. The user will not be able to change the homepage after this policy is in use.

1. Open Group Policy Management

2. Select the GPO you want to edit, or create a new GPO

3. Navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates >Windows Components > Internet Explorer

4. Now edit the Disable changing home page settings and set it to Enabled

5. Now type your Company URL into the home page field

6. Now click Apply and OK

The URL is now set and the users won't be able to change it.

You might want to run Gpupdate in a DOS window to refresh local and Active Directory-based Group Policy settings.
